Lily Collins chats new episodes of Emily in Paris

Emily in Paris is back for more fun, romance and drama in the city of love and star Lily Collins caught up with Today to chat about her latest adventures.

We last left everyone's favourite jet-setting PR executive at a crossroads in her love life, after her frenemy Camille dropped a massive baby bombshell.

But while viewers are divided on who Emily should end up with, Lily revealed personally she is neither "team Gabriel" or "team Alfie".

"Honestly, I'd have to say I'm 'team Emily,'" she told Renee Bargh.

"Just because I always want her to follow herself and go to her own identity and kind of really think deeply about who she is as a person and kind of where she's at.

"And I think as you watch this season, you'll see more vulnerable moments where Emily chooses herself, even if it hurts."

But while there may be some tough decisions in the first half of Emily in Paris, streaming on Netflix from Today, Lily said the second half of this season will see her having a lot of fun in her career abroad.

"I promised myself I'd be open to any possibility, so Emily is gonna keep on going," she said.

The new episodes see Emily venturing even further abroad - travelling to Italy in her role as an emerging PR executive.

And Lily said while the new season has plenty of drama, fans will also get to see Emily enjoy herself a bit more.

"She gets to have a new experience in a new city, just like she did in season one and honestly, she gets to embrace a little bit more of that vacay mode and puts her phone down a lot more, which is a brave, bold move for her," she said.

So to coincide with the new season, Netflix is launching the Emily in Paris Euro Summer Photo Tour.

Located at the InterContinental Sydney from August 16 - 18, Aussies are encouraged to channel their inner Emily and snap the perfect 'faux' Euro Summer photo with some iconic European backdrops.
