The running feud between Blake Lively and her It Ends With Us co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, is hitting new heights, with Baldoni responding to Lively's lawsuit, which accuses him of sexual harassment and a deliberate smear campaign to ruin her reputation.
Baldoni has returned serve with a lawsuit of his own, formally suing Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds, for US$400 million, claiming civil extortion, defamation and other actions.
The lawsuit alleges that when Lively and Reynolds could not force Baldoni and Wayfarer, his production company, to read a statement she and her representatives prepared, she lay in wait for months, preparing to publicly attack Baldoni by falsely claiming that he had sexually harassed her.

Baldoni's legal team included text messages, emails and more as evidence to back up his side of the story.
This comes after Baldoni's lawyers demanded that Disney hand over documents related to Ryan Reynolds' character, Nicepool in the recent Deadpool and Wolverine film, claiming the character is a blatant mockery of Baldoni.
This is now way past a joke with bad blood and some serious legal moves going on.
It does not end here, that is for sure.
And in some sad news out of Hollywood this morning, David Lynch, the groundbreaking director of Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and many other projects, passed away aged 78.
He was known for combining elements of horror, mystery, suspense and film noir in his very impressive body of work.
His family writing: "It's with deep regret that we, his family, announced the passing of the man and the artist David Lynch. There's a big hole in the world now that he's no longer with us. But as he would say, keep your eye on the doughnut and not the hole".
In August, Lynch revealed that he was suffering from emphysema and that he couldn't leave his home for fear that he would get COVID-19.

Now, a Today entertainment exclusive - our friend Kasey Chambers has just released the music video for her new song with ex-partner, Shane Nicholson.
She said "when our marriage ended, I never thought Shane and I would ever write another song together again. But I guess if you work hard enough on making a divorce really work, then anything can happen".
It's called The Divorce Song and it's a really beautiful song.
Kasey is embarking on a national tour, which kicks off next Thursday in Tamworth.
