A young teen said she is still in shock after Coldplay frontman Chris Martin invited her up on stage at the band's recent concert in Perth.

Jazlin Poma's father got tickets for the special concert and flew the pair over from Queensland to see them perform.

And if that wasn't exciting enough, a special sign Jazlin made to catch Chris' attention with a song request, did just that - and then some.

The sign read: " Beat Cancer 2 B Here - Sing Everglow", so Chris did just that... bringing Jazlin on stage to perform alongside him at the piano.

"It was incredible, it was so much fun, I just - I am still like shocked that it actually happened," Jazlin told Today.

"It was an experience - I am just so happy that it happened, it was amazing."

Jazlin said she was in awe sitting next to the musician and revealed he was "the nicest guy".

But her fondness of the singer and his band goes much deeper, with Jazlin revealing how much Coldplay helped her through her cancer treatment.

"It was hard, but Coldplay helped me through it," she said.

"I just love listening to them and it just really helped."

Jazlin had to give her dad a shout out for flying her across the country (and on his birthday) - for her to see the band.

And after news this morning that Coldplay has announced more Aussie shows for 2024 - Jazlin has another opportunity to meet her music hero when they return.

"Thank you, dad, for taking me to Perth - it was so much fun and I am ready for round two in Sydney," she said.
