What to watch on streaming services this weekend
If you're running out of things to watch then I have some great news for you.
A slew of highly-anticipated shows and movies are dropping this week; from Anna Kendrick's Love Life to Steve Carrell's Space Force, let's launch off and see if they're worth checking out.
My pick of the week: Love Life
Meet Darby, played by the charismatic Anna Kendrick.
We follow her on her life's journey; from first love, to last.
People will be hard-pressed not to fall in love with Darby. Supplied
Executive producer Paul Feig - who brought us the modern classic Bridesmaids - is responsible for this new series, which consists of half-hour episodes. Each one explores one of Darby's relationships.
Just a warning, this one is sure to give you all the feels; it's funny, heartwarming and at times - heartbreaking.

Ramy
Also dropping on the service is the second series of the award-winning comedy drama series Ramy.
If this one isn't on your radar, you'll want to pop it on there. Supplied
If you haven't seen this one yet, do yourself a favour and catch up on season one first. The series, which drops tomorrow, gives a hilarious glimpse into the life of a first generation Egyptian-American muslim, living in a New Jersey neighbourhood.
Then when you're ready, all 10 episodes of season two will be there waiting for you.
Underbelly: The Golden Mile
If you're like me and you're starting to run out of things you haven't seen and want to go back to an oldie, this one is for you. I've been loving re-watching this crime series on Stan this week.

Set in Sydney's notorious Kings Cross from the mid-eighties to late nighties it's certainly a wild ride and even though it first aired ten years ago on the Nine Network it's as good today as it was then.
Space Force
Speaking of wild rides, get ready to blast off into the great unknown in an adventure with Steve Carrell at the helm.
People have been waiting for this one when news of the all-star cast dropped. Supplied
Carrell stars as Mark R. Naird who has been put in charge of a brand-new intergalactic branch of American Defence; Space Force.
If this sounds familiar it's because it pokes fun at an initiative first laid out by US President Donald Trump.
With some other equally impressive A-listers in front of and behind the camera, I promise you won't want to miss this one when it launches on Netflix tomorrow.
Douglas
The laughs continue with Australian funnywoman Hannah Gadsby's new Netflix comedy special called Douglas.
That one is streaming now.
Bad Education
A brand-new player in the Australian streaming market arrived earlier this week, Binge. And my pick on the service this week is Hugh Jackman's black-comedy film Bad Education.

Jackman plays a highly-praised school superintendent – that is, until a student reporter uncovers an embezzlement screen of epic proportions.
That one's streaming now.
Mrs America
As is Mrs America starring two of our favourite Aussie exports; Cate Blanchette and Rose Byrne.
The series is about the political movement to pass America's equal rights amendment.
This important series has wowed audiences. Supplied

Over on Amazon Prime Video, is a new flick called The Vast of the Night.
Set in the 1950s this one puts a different spin on the sci-fi genre. Supplied

Central Park
And finally, Apple TV+ has assembled an all-star cast for a brand new animated musical comedy called Central Park.
This one puts a fun spin on a much-loved destination. Supplied
Josh Gad, Kristen Bell and Stanley Tucci lend their voices to the series, which tells the story of a family of caretakers who live and work in New York's famous park.
It's an all-singing, all-dancing, outdoor adventure. The first two episodes of season one drops tomorrow.
