In concerning news out of Long Island this morning, the piano man, Billy Joel, doesn't seem to be in the best of health after recovering from back surgery.

He's lost a ton of weight and his appetite, with fans concerned when he took a tumble on stage in Connecticut last month.

He has rescheduled his shows over the next four months, planning to be back on tour in July, when he will become the first artist in history to play all three stadiums in the New York area in a single summer.

Joel's playing Yankee Stadium with Rod Stewart, MetLife Stadium with Stevie Nicks, and Citifield with Sting.

It's clear he regrets postponing the shows, but health comes first, as it always does.

We wish him well and of course, we love our Billy Joel.

Speaking of seasoned performers, the legendary Dick Van Dyke has stepped out for a charity event in Malibu, singing one of his signature songs.

The 99-year-old was full of energy as he performed Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at a benefit for the LA wildfires.

And one of our favourite action men, Liam Neeson, is shooting a movie called The Mongoose in Melbourne.

It's a thriller about a war hero who's accused of murder and getting into the motor racing spirit, barrelling down Altona Pier.
