Australia's longest-serving Maccas worker builds impressive memorabilia collection
A McDonalds staffer who is celebrating 50 years with the fast food chain said he has no plans of retiring anytime soon.
George Caruana currently works at the chain's Epping restaurant in Melbourne and still has the uniform he first put on when he was just 19 years old.
And over the years he has built up an impressive collection of memorabilia showing how much Maccas has changed.

"Ronald's not around at the moment, we do miss him, but I've still got his doll here and I've got a big statue upstairs and my collection keeps me going - it gives me so much energy at 69," George told Today.
He said Maccas is the best place to work and encourages any youngsters looking for work to send in an application.
"They look after us with free food and half-price meals at other stores - my favourite is a Big Mac and I think I've had at least 138,000 Big Macs and 35,000 French fries," he said.

While George may be celebrating 50 years with McDonalds, he is already looking forward to the next big party when he can commemorate 70 years with the restaurant chain.
"I collect money for Ronald McDonald House too and I have collected $155,000 over the years," he said.
"I'm always selling stuff for them and even making money on recycling cans and bottles too."
