RnB megastar weighs in on Today host's 'big daddy' vibes
Throughout this week, Karl Stefanovic has been pushing for his co-hosts to be OK with calling him "daddy" or even "big daddy".
But the overall consensus is it's not going to happen.
The term was giving Sarah and Jayne the ick every time Karl revisited it and an RnB megastar has also weighed in on whether the nickname will fly.

Akon is in Australia headlining Juicy Fest and the Today hosts asked him what his thoughts were on Karl being a "daddy".
"No, the 'big daddy' is more for your girlfriend, let her call you that," the Lonely singer said.
Sarah suggested Karl could have some competition over such a title with the likes of thee 5X Grammy nominee, but Akon said he had another title along that line he owned.
"They just call me 'the OG Pops,'" he laughed.

Akon performs at Juicy Fest along with Ludacris, Jeremih, Fat Joe and Ray J, among others tonight in Melbourne.
