TODAY host Lisa Wilkinson fails to turn toad into prince

TODAY Show host Lisa Wilkinson has locked lips with a cane toad while on tour with the show in Queensland’s Port Douglas.
The toad, wearing a blue ribbon to represent NSW ahead of tonight’s State of Origin opener, was less than welcoming, urinating as she picked it up.
Co-host Karl Stefanovic’s mother Jenny also kissed a fiesty toad, wearing Queensland maroon colours.

Less than impressed with the affection, the toad lunged at her as she leant in to give it a peck.
