* In 2014 - Ley attends the same businesswoman's annual New Year's Eve event on the Gold Coast and charges taxpayers for travel costs.

* March 17, 2015 - Ley charters a VIP jet to the Gold Coast to attend a Pharmacy Guild conference in the afternoon at a cost of $12,000 to taxpayers.

* May 9, 2015 - Ley buys an investment property from a Liberal National Party donor during taxpayer-funded trip to Queensland to make a $1.3 billion drugs-funding announcement at Wesley's Hospital in Brisbane and meet Gold Coast patients.

* January 3, 2017 - details of of Ley's $12,000 charter flight are revealed.

* January 6, 2017 - reports emerge of Ley's Gold Coast investment property purchase she describes as an impulse buy.

* January 8, 2017 - Ley apologises for error of judgment for claiming travel entitlements and promises to repay money for the May 2015 trip and costs of several other journeys in 2014 and 2015.
