Thrill-seeking cat takes to the slopes

A cat has joined his owner on a speedy sled, as part of a stunt filmed for the feline’s social media accounts.

The video, uploaded to YouTube yesterday, shows a seemingly unruffled Weston perched on his owner Jesse Smith’s shoulders as they ride down a snow-covered slope.

It has since received almost half a million views.

Professional photographer Mr Smith, 29, and his wife have been documenting their hiking trips with cats Weston and Ellinore for their recently launched Facebook and Facebook accounts.

“My wife and I have taken both cats sledding once before, and they both were content as could be,” Mr Smith told The Huffington Post 

“Weston usually opts for the shoulder perch and does a great job of balancing up there. 

“Also, being that it is quite cold during all this snow play, we do make sure to take frequent trips back to the warm car.”
