One of three senior Finks bikies charged over the alleged extortion of a shopkeeper in Sydney's north-west is a former male model.

President Eamon Mulgrew was cuffed and led away from a Chatswood home, while his second in charge Brent McCaffery and Sergeant at Arms Mitchell McPhail were rounded up in raids.

The three most senior members of the Finks "Lower Mountains Chapter" were charged with extorting a shop owner over a feud with exiled member Corey Agius.

The shopkeeper, a 45-year-old man from Riverstone, was allegedly intimidated by the bikie trio after he loaned $11,500 to a 25-year-old man, also from Riverstone.

He was allegedly given items of jewellery, a motorcycle and boat in exchange for the loan.

In April, police allege the Finks members went to the Riverstone shop and demanded the return of loaned items, but the shopkeeper refused.

It is alleged the bikies continued to threaten the shopkeeper, demanding the jewellery be handed over.
