Child among three burned in Brisbane River boat blast

A child and two adults have been burned in a boat explosion on the Brisbane River, between Yeronga and St Lucia.

A woman has burns to her face and arms, and the child has burns to their leg, the Queensland Ambulance Service advised.

All three patients have been taken to hospital for treatment. 

Early investigations indicate that the boat’s engine exploded, and that it was docked at a private mooring off the Brisbane Corso.
