It was October 2011 when Katie Foreman was ripped from her family, killed in this fire at her Corrimal home.

The Wollongong lawyer woke after the petrol was ignited, but only made it to her bedroom door.Katie was a valued member of the legal profession, and a friend to many.
The court heard Bradley Rawlinson was the driving force behind the murder, he was in a relationship with Ms Foreman.But he was also sleeping with Wendy Evans, declaring his love to her in text messages. One of them read "just think one more week, then she is gone and we can be together."

s influence Evans plotted the murder and recruited Michelle Proud to help.For that, Rawlinson was sentenced to a minimum 27 years jail, Evans to 18, and Proud to 14.
