Thousands arrive across Europe

MIGRANTS BY THE NUMBERS:

- Around 450,000 refugees have arrived in Germany so far this year, including 37,000 in the first eight days of September

- 5000 migrants arrive at Serbia's border with Hungary in past 24 hours

- 3321 refugees crossing into Hungary from Serbia in the past 24 hours

- 3000 entering Austria from Hungary overnight

- UNHCR says at least 42,000 migrants expected to enter Hungary by next week

- New EU plan to relocate 160,000 refugees around Europe
