Man charged over fatal road collision in Melbourne's north
Police have today charged a man over a fatal road collision in Melbourne's north on the weekend.
Lara Guglielmi, 19, died when she was a passenger in an allegedly stolen Kia Cerato that was in a collision with a Mercedes SUV in Thomastown during the early hours of Sunday.
Detectives have charged a 22-year-old Thomastown man with dangerous driving causing death, failing to render assistance, failing to remain at a scene and other offences.

Another female passenger in the Cerato, and the man and woman from the Mercedes were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The 22-year-old Thomastown man was arrested in Box Hill on Wednesday.
He is due to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court later today.
This week Guglielmi's family said they had been "ripped apart" by her death.
"She's just a beautiful, beautiful kid," her stepmother said.
