Thieves steal motorbikes in robbery linked to string of Bendigo burglaries

Three thieves broke into a shed and stole two motorbikes in Bendigo, Victoria over the weekend.

Detectives from the Bendigo Crime Investigation Unit believe the theft could be linked to a string of burglaries in the area.

The motorbikes were stolen in the early hours of Saturday on a property in Junortoun.

The second stolen bike is this red 2005 Ducati S2R800 with registration ED169.

It is understood three male offenders broke into a shed and took a Ducati and a Honda motorbike.

They fled on foot whilst pushing the bikes towards McIvor Highway, and were later seen riding them in Bettys Avenue.

Investigators have released CCTV footage and images of three males who they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police are appealing for members of the public who may have any information about the theft to come forward and Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
