Telstra apologises to customers after outage left them unable to make or take calls
Telstra has apologised to customers across Australia after they were hit with an hours-long outage that left them unable to make or receive calls.
The network outage hit last night, but has since been resolved.
The telecommunications giant confirmed the issue was fixed at 9am AEST, and mainly affected NSW and Queensland customers.

"The issue affecting mobile calls is now fixed. Mobile data and calls to Triple Zero, if you had coverage, were not affected at any stage," a spokesperson said.
"We're sorry for the impact this had to people's days. Our team worked to get everyone calling again as quickly as possible."
The spokesperson added some people may not be connected the first time they call.
"Some customers may need to retry calling if it doesn't connect the first time, but then you'll be good to go," they said.
