Teens charged over Melb aggravated burg

Up to six men stormed a Melbourne house, allegedly assaulting the home owners before making off with their car during a late night burglary in the city's west.

The owners of the Kurunjang home, in Melbourne's west, were sleeping when the men burst into the house at 11.30pm on Monday night, police say.

Two teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, have been charged with assault, car theft and aggravated home invasion offences.

Both were on bail at the time of the burglary.

An 18-year old Melton man was released on summons and three other offenders remain on the run.
