Three teenage boys are among eight people who have been arrested this morning as authorities conduct raids at seven properties across Sydney.
Detectives from the Middle Eastern Organised Crime Squad stormed homes in Fairfield, Cabramatta West, Smithfield and Elizabeth Hills around 6am today, as they executed seven search warrants simultaneously.
The raids are reportedly targeting gangs which have been involved in a series of recent shootings and fire bombings.
Police have arrested eight people so far, including three teenage boys, one woman, and four men. More arrests are expected throughout the morning.
The eight suspects are expected to be charged with drug supply and criminal group offence.
