Teenager on GBH charge after road rage

A road rage incident in Perth has left a 60-year-old man with serious head injuries and a teenager charged with grievous bodily harm.

Police charged the 19 year-old man after he allegedly assaulted the man in Manning just after 4pm on Saturday.

Police say both men were driving on Griffin Crescent, when a verbal altercation turned violent.

Both men stopped their cars and got out, when the accused man allegedly kicked the victim in the head, causing him to fall and hit his head on the ground.

The victim suffered serious head injuries and is currently receiving treatment in Royal Perth Hospital.

The teenager will appear in the Perth Magistrates Court on Monday.
