Teenager dies in Queensland road crash

An 18-year-old woman has died following a single vehicle crash in Far North Queensland early today.

Police say they believe the teenager was travelling along Doomadgee Road at Doomadgee about 2.30am today when she lost control of her vehicle.

Emergency services gave her first aid, but she died at the scene.

The South Australian woman was the sole occupant of the vehicle.

Police crash investigators are investigating the crash.
