Teen plunges 70m down cliff on Sydney's northern beaches

A 16-year-old boy has suffered serious injuries after plunging 70m down a cliff in Mona Vale, in Sydney's northern beaches.

Police were called to the scene about 4.30pm after the teenager fell over the cliffs at Narrabeen Park Parade.

The boy was airlifted to safety with two badly broken hands. Amazingly, he did not suffer any spinal injuries during the fall.
