An 18-year-old girl is in hospital after being left for dead in a Christmas Day hit-run on the Sunshine Coast.

Ebony Rich was driving along Berrburrum Road, Elimbah yesterday morning when out of nowhere she was rammed by a Subaru Impreza.

Instead of stopping to check on Ms Rich's condition, the driver of the Subaru left the scene.
