Passenger on the run after stabbing taxi driver

A taxi driver has been repeatedly stabbed by a passenger in NSW's southwest.
The 35-year-old driver suffered four stab wounds to his arm and hand in the attack.
He had picked up a man just before 4am at a taxi rank in Albury.

The passenger got out of the cab as it approached West Albury, and asked the taxi driver to also get out.
The driver remained in the cab and the passenger approached his door and stabbed him repeatedly before running off.
The driver was taken to Albury Base Hospital for treatment.
