Taxi driver cuts corner, causes head on crash

This is why you should never cut corners.

Dashcam footage purportedly taken in Sydney’s south at Waterloo over the weekend shows a driver heading down Lachlan Street while listening to some laidback beats.

Things take a sudden scary turn for the worse, however, when the driver attempts to make a left turn onto Burke Street and slams head first into a taxi coming from the opposite direction.

The footage, which the driver posted on YouTube, appears to show the taxi driver cutting the corner and veering onto the wrong side of the road.

Comments posted on Facebook suggest the intersection has been the site of several other accidents.

“The amount of times someone has an accident on that corner is ridiculous! I live on that street and it happens once every second day,” one user wrote.
