Tasmanian resources minister Paul Harriss retires from politics

Tasmania's resources minister Paul Harriss has announced his retirement.
The 61-year-old Liberal MP was elected to the state's lower house at the 2014 election after previously serving in the Legislative Council for almost two decades.
"Paul has made a tremendous contribution to our state," Premier Will Hodgman said.
