Man stable after Boxing Day stroll with brother ends in Tasmanian cliff fall

A 62-year-old man has been winched out after falling and hurting himself while enjoying a Boxing Day walk with his brother in Tasmania.
The Victorian man fell and injured himself at Shipstern Bluff on Tasman Peninsula about 2pm (AEDT) today.
His brother used a mobile phone to alert police who called out the Westpac Rescue Helicopter and local officers.

The injured man was treated at the scene before being winched out and taken to hospital in Hobart in a stable condition.
