Tasmania's flood clean-up continues

One month after devastating and deadly flooding ravaged Tasmania the state continues its clean-up operation, including the search for a missing farmer.

Police will push on searching rivers for the body of Trevor Foster, 81, who was swept away while tending livestock at his central Tasmanian property on June 6. The bodies of two other people have already been recovered.

The state government on Thursday said more than 1000 people have been paid emergency assistance grants and almost 200 have been provided with temporary accommodation in the wake of the disaster which is estimated to have a damage bill of more than $100 million.
