A volunteer firefighter accused of destroying more than $330,000 in property has been charged with 18 fire-related offences.

The 30-year-old Oyster Cove man is accused of setting fire to a vacant house, a storage shed, an excavator, a vehicle, a power pole and bushland in a string of alleged offences dating back to December.

He's been charged with two counts of arson, three of unlawfully setting fire to property and 13 counts of unlawfully setting fire to vegetation, and is expected to face court later on Thursday.
