Tas police sergeant sacked over conduct

A police sergeant in southern Tasmania has been sacked after an internal investigation found numerous breaches of conduct.

Among the offences were conflicts of interest and issues pertaining to the officer's investigative practices, police said in a statement.

Police Commissioner Darren Hine dismissed the sergeant on Friday.
