Tas man blows license and AC/DC ticket

A Tasmanian man wanted to be on the Highway to Hell but found himself Thunderstruck in the island state.

The 27-year-old Sandy Bay man was driving to Hobart airport to catch a flight to Melbourne for Sunday's AC/DC concert when he was stopped for a random breath test.

Police immediately cancelled his licence after he allegedly blew 0.131 - more than twice the legal limit - and he missed his flight.
