A man has been cut free from the wreckage of his ute after a trailer he was towing disconnected in Tasmania.
The man was travelling down Midland Highway in Oatlands, about 80km north of Hobart on Sunday afternoon, when the trailer detached and caused the ute to roll onto oncoming traffic, smashing into a car, police say.
The driver of the ute was airlifted to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, while the occupants of the car hit by the ute were uninjured.
