Tas church leaders champion hope and love

Amid trying global times Tasmania's church leaders will focus on a message of hope and love at Easter.

Just days after 31 people were killed and hundreds injured in a Brussels terrorist attack, Catholic Archbishop of Hobart Julian Porteous will use Good Friday to champion the strength of love that conquers hate.

"Human beings need hope to survive. It is essential for human flourishing," Tasmania's Anglican Bishop Richard Condie said.
