Statewide search for missing Tas teenager

Tasmanian police have launched a statewide search for a teenage boy missing for more than a day.

Barry Angus Bedelph, 14, was last seen about 8.30am on Thursday in the Hobart suburb of Moonah wearing trousers, a maroon hoodie and baseball cap.

"Barry could be in the Hobart or Glenorchy areas, or possibly in Launceston or George Town," police said in a statement.

They're calling for public information to help find the teenager who's described as about 175cm tall, with heavy build and black curly hair.
