A Hobart shipbuilder has revealed plans for a ferry service on the southern capital's Derwent River that would ease the city's traffic congestion.
Incat on Wednesday unveiled a concept which includes 16 floating jetties dotted along both east and west shorelines, servicing a fleet of 12-metre passenger crafts.
The business promotes the idea as a commuting solution as well as a tourism drawcard, with a two-hour trip visiting all stops.
