Seized Tas houses targeted by arsonists

Two Tasmanian houses seized by authorities under unexplained wealth legislation have both been set on fire in separate arson attacks.

Two Hobart houses forfeited to the Crown in April have been deliberately set on fire, one on Friday and the other on June 21, police say.

Investigators believe the two fires are linked and targeted and the damage is valued at about $200,000.
