Pair charged over suspected Tas murder

Two men have been charged with conspiracy over the suspected murder of a missing Tasmanian man.

Christopher Watkins, 28, was last seen on August 7, 2013 at a Launceston address and despite extensive inquiries, his whereabouts remain a mystery and detectives in July said they believed he had been killed.

Police allege the two men - aged 22 and 23 - were living at the address where Mr Watkins was last seen, and gave false information about what happened on the night of his disappearance.

Both will face court on October 7.
