No one over the limit out of 5600 Tas RBTs

A 24-hour blitz on Tasmanian roads has failed to find a single drink driver over the limit, despite police testing more than 5600 people.

For all of Wednesday there were five times the usual number of officers rostered on traffic duty across the island state.

"It's very encouraging to see that no one was caught drink driving," Inspector John Ward said, but added that 14 drivers had tested positive to drugs.
