More wind and storms for Tasmania

Tasmania is in for another windy night, with the State Emergency Service warning of damaging gusts up to 100km/h.

Thunderstorms are also possible late on Monday and into Tuesday as a cold front crosses the island, with northern and central areas and King Island expected to cop the worst of the weather.

The forecast comes after Tasmania endured prolonged rough conditions last week, including three successive days when gusts in Hobart reached more than 100km/h.
