Man injured in suspicious Tas house fire

A man has burns to his arms and head caused by a fire in suburban Hobart that police believe was deliberately lit.

A car parked in the driveway and the house were well alight when firefighters arrived at the Claremont property just after midday on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old man was being treated in hospital, but his house and car have been completely destroyed.
