A Tasmanian man has been charged with manslaughter over a fatal highway crash in which his car allegedly crossed onto the wrong side of the road at high speed.
A 53-year-old Launceston man was killed in the December collision and several members of his family in the car he was driving were seriously injured.
The alleged offender, 44, escaped serious injury but was charged this week and granted bail to face court again on June 9.
