Body found after Tasmania house fire

Emergency crews have found a body inside a Launceston house after extinguishing a fire that destroyed the property.

Investigators say there are no suspicious circumstances linked to the discovery.

Firefighters were called to Beech Road in suburban Norwood shortly before midnight Monday and found the house engulfed.

The body is that of a 58-year-old man who was the sole resident of the property, the ABC has reported.
