Birthday numbers prove lucky in Lotto win

A Hobart woman is $1 million richer after winning TattsLotto using the birth dates of family members.

The woman from New Norfolk, who wished to remain anonymous, had been playing for years and was one of two division-one winners in Monday night's draw.

"We've got people we want to help, but we want to get it right," the winner said, adding that she plans to pay off her mortgage and share some money with family.
