Sydney commuters on the T8 Airport & South line are being urged to allow more travel time after a train partially left its tracks this morning.

A spokesperson from the Transport Management Centre advised that some services have now resumed on the T8 line with commuters advised to expect some delays.

Earlier, a freight train had partially derailed at Minto this morning, closing the T8 line in both directions between Glenfield and Macarthur.

Commuters are being urged to allow extra travel time and to check indicator boards at their station for updates on the line’s status.
