Driver on the run after crashing through shopfront during second ram raid attempt
Police are searching for a driver who reversed his truck into the window of a jewellery store in Sydney's west this morning during what police suspect to be a second failed ram raid attempt.
The driver used his truck to smash through the window of the business on Auburn Road in Auburn just before 5am today before fleeing the scene.
This is the second time in three days the store has been targeted under almost identical circumstances.

On Sunday January 31, police were called to the same store after reports a Hino truck had crashed into the shop front.
During the first incident, the unknown driver fled and was picked up by a vehicle waiting nearby.

No one was injured however a crime scene has been established. 9News
No items were reported stolen from either incident and no one was hurt.
Police are now investigating the two crimes and are calling on the public for further information to assist their inquiries.
