Sydney train delays: Car crashes onto train line at Westmead
Commuters are being warned to expect train delays after a car has crashed onto train tracks in Sydney’s west.
At 7.20am emergency crews were called to Park Parade in Westmead after reports of a crash near Parramatta Railway Station.
A white ute had been travelling west when it hit a fence and continued onto the tracks.

Trains on the Western Line are currently experiencing delays around Westmead. Sydney Trains advises that trains are continuing to operate through the area at reduced speeds.
Following the crash the driver, a man believed to be in his 30s or 40s, was taken to Westmead hospital with head and facial injuries.
