Traffic chaos after Eastern Distributor closed northbound following crash
A crash on the Eastern Distributor has caused chaos for Sydney commuters heading north towards the city this afternoon.
All northbound lanes on the Eastern Distributor were closed near William Street just after lunchtime this afternoon, after a van and trailer crashed and tipped over, spilling concrete onto the road.
Authorities have now finished cleaning up the spill, but traffic remains very heavy and motorists are being advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect delays.
