Swans bring Brownlow glamour to Sydney
The Sydney Swans’ team function at the SCG tonight rivalled the Melbourne-based Brownlow Medal for girls, gowns glitz and glamour.
The club opted not to travel to the annual awards night, instead holding its own small event.
Jetting home to support her boyfriend Buddy Franklin ahead of Saturday’s Sydney-Hawthorn grand final, was Jesinta Campbell.
“So far I’ve missed my spray tan appointment, my nail appointment, my waxing appointment, my hair appointment, so I’m officially the worst-prepared person for tonight,” she said.
Swans hero Franklin is a favourite for the Brownlow, while there’s also been a betting plunge on midfielder Josh Kennedy.
Swans fans have been told that if they can’t make it to Melbourne for the grand final, there will be plenty of action at the SCG, including a big screen for the big game.
