Sydney Porsche driver with kid in car arrested for drink driving

A Sydney Porsche driver has been charged with high-range drink driving after police stopped him and also found a young child in his luxury sports car.

The 34-year-old man from Vaucluse in Sydney's eastern suburbs allegedly returned a positive breath reading of 0.163.

Police stopped the black Porsche 922 on Beach Road, near Campbell Parade, about 9pm because of the way he was driving.

When officers approached, they noticed an eight-year-old boy in the front passenger seat.

Police arrested the driver and took him to Waverley Police Station for a breath test.

The man was charged with high-range PCA and will appear at Waverley Local Court on 1 September.

His licence was suspended and a child at risk notification has been made.
