The 39-year-old was in court yesterday, when during care proceedings involving his children, he allegedly became agitated and threatened the Magistrate.

Police said he then threw a water jug from the bar table.

The jug narrowly missed the Magistrate and smashed on the wall behind the bench. The Sheriff’s officer apprehended the man immediately before handing him over to police.

He was then taken to Parramatta Police Station and charged with common assault and stalking or intimidating.

He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court later today.
